Lifelong Learning (Wofford College)
Members of Lifelong Learning at Wofford may participate in a variety of eight-week, interactive courses and one-time workshops, lectures or events. Courses cover a wide range of topics, including history, religion, science, cooking, literature, writing, pop culture, physical fitness and current events.

The Spark Center
IGNITE Your Creativity @ SPARK Space in the Spartanburg County Public Libraries’ makerspace! Makerspaces are creative, Do-it-yourself (DIY) spaces where people come together to tinker, create, design, build, and experiment.
The Spark Space offers opportunities for hands-on learning for patrons by providing access to emerging technology, tools, craft materials and more.

A group of Spartanburg seniors play pick-up softball games every Thursday at 10am at the Tyger River Park Stadium. There are some occasional home and away games scheduled with nearby communities. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to join the group.

Silver Sneakers is a low-impact fitness class designed for seniors. The class is free for Humana clients. The cost is $24 per month for those not covered by Humana. The class meets at 11:15am Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Inman First Baptist Church Gymnasium.
